Craft Making Shop makes it easy to process returns. Craft Making Shop accepts returns and issues refunds for complete products, value packs and bundles up to 90 days from the date of purchase.
What About Product Safety?
The Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) act pertains to products designed or primarily intended for children 12 years of age or younger. DTSC Metal-Containing Jewelry Law defines Children's jewelry as made for, marketed for use by, or marketed to children ages fifteen and younger, represented in its packaging, display, or advertising.
Craft Making Shop not fall within the legislation's guidelines as our products are intended for adults and persons 14 years or older.
California Proposition 65
California’s Proposition 65, also called the California State Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, was enacted in 1986. As part of the law, the state is required to publish a list of chemicals that are “known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.” As of 2020, this list now contains over 900 chemicals, the entire list of chemicals can be found on the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) website, here: https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65
California’s Prop 65 requires that businesses to provide a “clear and reasonable warning” if one or more listed chemicals may be present in the product in trace quantities, even if those quantities are below the safe harbor and No Significant Risk Levels (NSRLs) recognized in jewelry standards. In compliance with this law, a warning may appear on Craft Making Shop products.
